I have been studying astrology for almost 20 years.
I've been fascinated with astrology ever since I learned how to
read! I was first interested in my "sign" and then I began reading
all about the signs of my friends and family. This is why I got
the nickname, "The Astrology Girl". To me, astrology is not only
an enjoyable hobby, but a tool that enhances my understanding of
myself, others, and human nature. I have no preconceptions about
people based on their birth date, but rather a unique viewpoint
for observation and interpretation. Even though astrology cannot
be proven as scientific fact, I believe astrology can expand our
imagination and help us to understand ourselves and each other. A
basic knowledge of astrology encourages us to have awareness and

The Astrology Girl takes into account the 3 main
signs that contribute to an individual's overall personality. The
most important sign in a horoscope is your Sun sign, which is most
commonly referred to as "your sign". Your Moon sign and Rising
sign are both secondary to your Sun sign. Although, do not
underestimate the influence your Moon sign and Rising sign have on
your nature. These 3 signs are rarely combined and analyzed in a
horoscope, but rather just basic descriptions of each sign is
written about separately. I think the unique combination of a
person's Sun, Moon, and Rising signs most strongly influence our
personality. This is why you may be compatible with another person
whose Sun sign is incompatible with your Sun sign. Most likely,
your Moon and/or Rising sign is compatible with theirs, and
therefore, you are compatible with each other.
For example: My Sun sign is in Pisces, my
Moon sign is in Aquarius, and my Rising sign is in Virgo.

simply where the Pisces, Aquarius, and Virgo star constellations
were in the sky when I was born. Although Sun sign Pisces isn't
typically compatible with Sun sign Aquarius, my Moon sign in
Aquarius improves my relationship with a person whose Sun sign is
Aquarius. There are many other aspects to a horoscope, such as the
houses in a chart and the planetary placements, but I am going to
stick to the 3 main signs. This keeps astrology simple and
interesting for everyone!
